We remodeled our kitchen in 3/09 and installed five brand new GE Monogram appliances. Three arrived with build defects. In the last three months, we have had 14 visits, 2 incorrectly ordered parts, and innumerable phone calls. Now, I have one appliance that doesn't work at all and another that emits a lound buzzing noise. I have a stainless steel refrigerator that has scratches on both sides, but GE will not take responsiblity for fixing them.
<br />Because the service team is so overwhelmed, at one point, they confused my phone number with another customer's phone number. When I called that number/customer, I got quite an earful about his problems. It seems that GE Preferred Service is problematic with a number of customers. So, if you are considering buying GE Monogram, be concerned about the quality of the product that you are buying.
